Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2025
Applies to: mattrAlarm and other apps, sites, products, and services operated by antimattr (“antimattr,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), together called the “Services.”

1) Who we are & scope

This Privacy Policy explains how antimattr collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our Services—including mattrAlarm, an AI alarm clock that places a phone call and speaks with you to wake you up or help you complete the task you set the alarm for. It also explains your rights and choices.

This policy is designed to meet the requirements of:

  • Google Play User Data policy and Data safety disclosures (what we collect, why, whether it’s shared/sold, and security practices). Google Help
  • Apple App Store: App Privacy Details (“privacy nutrition labels”) and App Review Guidelines (Section 5.1: Data Collection and Storage). Apple Developer
  • Major privacy laws including GDPR/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA, and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). GDPR

2) Data controller & contact

antimattr is the data controller for personal information processed via our Services (except where we act as a processor on your behalf).

Privacy contact: support@antimattr.one

Support: support@antimattr.one

Company: Snipe Labs Private Limited

3) What we collect

We collect only what we need to deliver and improve the Services:

Account & basic identifiers

  • Name (optional/nickname), phone number (required to receive calls), email (if you sign up with email), and password or SSO identifier.
  • Device identifiers (e.g., app instance ID), OS and app version, language, country/region.

Alarm & usage data

  • Alarm labels/tags, schedules, and preferences (e.g., tone/voice preferences).
  • Call delivery metadata: time of call, connection status, duration, and high-level call quality metrics.
  • In-app events and diagnostics (crashes, performance, feature usage) to maintain reliability and safety.

Voice interactions (AI calling)

  • Audio streams & transcripts of your call only as necessary to generate speech recognition (STT), real-time responses (LLM), and text-to-speech (TTS).
  • We use ElevenLabs strictly as a processor for STT/TTS (see §7). We configure retention to the minimum needed and, where supported, set limited or zero retention for audio/transcripts unless you opt in to history. ElevenLabs

Payment information

If you purchase a subscription, payments are handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.

Data we do not collect by default

  • We do not collect your contacts, photos, or precise location unless a specific feature asks and you grant permission.
  • We do not access SMS/Call Log on Android. We do not require restricted phone/SMS permissions; phone calls are placed via our telephony service and/or OS dialer without reading your call logs. Google Help

4) Sources of data

  • Directly from you (sign-up inputs, alarm settings, your voice during calls).
  • Automatically from your device/App (events, diagnostics).
  • From app store platforms (install, crash signals) per their privacy policies.

5) Why we process your data (legal bases)

  • Provide the Service (place the call, recognize your speech, generate natural responses, speak back to you).
  • Maintain reliability and safety (fraud prevention, abuse detection, diagnostics).
  • Improve features (quality, wake-rate) and support you (customer support).

Legal bases under GDPR/UK GDPR: contract (to deliver the Service), consent (e.g., optional call recording or history), and legitimate interests (security, product improvement in a privacy-preserving way). GDPR

Under India’s DPDP Act, we obtain free, specific, informed consent where required and process only necessary data for the stated purpose. MeitY

6) Your choices

  • Audio & transcript history: you can opt in/out of saving call transcripts or audio (default: not retained beyond delivery unless needed for reliability or you opt in). See §11 (Retention). ElevenLabs
  • Permissions: you can grant or revoke device permissions at any time in settings.
  • Marketing: we do not send marketing without your consent where required; you can unsubscribe anytime.

7) How AI voice processing works (ElevenLabs)

To conduct the live phone conversation, mattrAlarm converts your speech to text (STT), generates a response, and converts it back to speech (TTS). We use ElevenLabs as a data processor solely to perform STT/TTS and, where configured, to host voice models. We do not sell your data and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We configure ElevenLabs’ retention controls to the minimum necessary and honor your choices about history. Learn about ElevenLabs’ privacy and retention features here.

Third-party processors vs “sharing”
Using a processor (like ElevenLabs) to provide a feature is not “selling” or “sharing” under most laws or the Play Store’s “Data Safety” concept, provided it’s limited to providing the service and subject to a data processing agreement. We disclose such processing in our store listings and below. Google Help

8) Do we sell or share your data?

  • No sale. We do not sell personal information.
  • No ad “sharing.” We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Processors only. We disclose data to service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, voice/STT/TTS, analytics strictly for product performance, and telephony carriers) under contracts that limit their use to our instructions and require appropriate security.

9) Data Safety (Google Play) & App Privacy Details (Apple)

Our store listings transparently disclose the categories of data collected/processed, whether data is linked to you, and whether it’s used for tracking. We also declare our security practices and data deletion options—per Play Console Data safety and Apple’s App Privacy Details. Google Help

Typical categories for mattrAlarm (exact labels may vary by platform UI):

  • Collected: Identifiers (phone number, device/app ID), App info & performance, Diagnostics, Alarm metadata; optionally Audio and Transcripts (if you opt in to history).
  • Linked to you: Account identifiers and alarm settings to provide the service.
  • Not used for tracking: We do not track you across apps/sites for ads.
  • Data deletion: See §12 Rights & §11 Retention.

10) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access control, and deletion protocols. On Android and iOS, we minimize permissions and avoid restricted SMS/Call Log access in line with Google Play and Apple privacy guidance. Google Help

11) Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes in §5, then delete or de-identify it. Audio and transcript retention is minimized and, where supported by our processors, configured via retention settings (e.g., no persistent storage unless you opt in). You may request deletion at any time (see §12). ElevenLabs

12) Your rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to:

  • Access / Portability — get a copy of your data.
  • Correction — fix inaccurate data.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your data.
  • Withdraw consent / opt out — for consent-based features (e.g., history).
  • Object / restrict — to certain processing (e.g., improvement analytics).
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): right to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of sale/sharing; no discrimination for exercising rights. oag.ca.gov
  • India (DPDP Act): withdraw consent and use a Consent Manager; processing must remain necessary and proportionate to the stated purpose. MeitY

To exercise rights, email support@antimattr.one. We’ll verify your request and respond within the time required by law. You can also submit a data deletion request via antimattr.one/privacy/request-data-delete.

13) International transfers

We may process and store data in countries other than where you reside. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information during cross-border transfers.

14) Children

Our Services are not directed to children under the age required by your region (typically 13, or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to delete it.

15) Telephony & call compliance

mattrAlarm delivers calls using compliant telephony providers. We do not access restricted Call Log data on Android unless expressly permitted by policy (we don’t require it). If you reside in a region with consent requirements for recording, we will either not record or we will seek your explicit consent beforehand, and you can opt out of history at any time. Google Help

16) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. We will update the “Effective date” and, where required, notify you in-app or by email. Google Play policy changes are monitored and incorporated as needed. Google Help
