antimattr is now backed by Y Combinator and part of the Fall 2026 batch.

We've been building antimattr for nine months. Before that, Sirsho and I spent a year building voice agents. All of them hit the same wall. The moment a user stepped into a café, a transit, an open office - the product stopped working. Not because the AI got worse. Because the hardware they were using was never built for speaking.

That's the problem antimattr exists to fix. antimattr builds voice-first hardware interface for memory and voice productivity that includes a ring and a pair of earphones.

Sirsho and I have been friends since we were kids. We built our first company together out of college. We failed at some things, shipped some things that worked, and learned the only way you actually learn - by being wrong in public and having to fix it.

YC is next. We move to San Francisco in September. We're going to spend the batch doing what we've been doing: talking to users, fixing things, shipping, repeating.
